Boston Legacy signs former Paris FC defender Deja Davis
Boston (July 1, 2026) - Boston Legacy Football Club today announced the signing of Deja Davis to a contract running through December 2028. The 31-year-old from Montclair, New Jersey joins the Legacy as a free agent after making 65 appearances for top-flight French team Paris FC.
At Paris FC, Davis helped the club win the Coupe de France in 2025 and also represented them in Champions League in their 2024-25 campaign. Previous to that she spent seven years at Le Havre, where she helped the club twice get promoted, climbing from third to first division in France, while also being asked to play multiple positions across defense.
“I think it's really exciting to be a part of something that's new,” said Davis. “My intention was to be here and be at the beginning of something, and help the team make a name in the NWSL. Also, for me, I'm discovering the NWSL. I've never played in the NWSL. I'm also pretty close to home, so it's my chance to have my family come to games.”

That experience and that builder’s mentality are exactly what we need at the core. Someone who knows how to lay a foundation, brings real defensive stability, and makes everyone around her better.”
The Legacy will next play Bay FC on Sunday, July 5 at 12:00 PM ET at Centreville Bank Stadium.
