Boston Legacy FC Loan Report - Aug. 25

With our inaugural 2026 season on the horizon, Boston Legacy FC players are keeping active by playing for teams on loan across the world. Here’s a look at their latest performances and their upcoming matches.
Emerson Elgin – Tampa Bay Sun
Emerson made her USL Super League debut with Tampa Bay on Saturday, starting and playing the full 90 minutes in their opener against Brooklyn FC. She’ll look to build on that performance when the Sun face Sporting JAX on Saturday, August 30 at 8PM ET.
Aïssata Traoré – FC Fleury 91
Traoré featured in the starting XI for Fleury in a preseason friendly against Strasbourg on August 23. She and her side continue their preparations with another tune-up match against Reims this Saturday, August 30.
Laurel Ansbrow – Ft. Lauderdale United
Ansbrow was in action for Ft. Lauderdale’s season debut, playing the full 90 minutes in their meeting with Lexington SC. She’ll look to help United secure points when they host Carolina Ascent on Saturday, August 30 at 7:30PM ET.
Alba Caño – FC Barcelona
Caño earned minutes off the bench for Barça in their international friendly against Club América on Sunday, August 24. She’ll aim to contribute again when Barcelona takes on Alhama this Saturday, August 30 at 2PM ET in their season debut.
Annie Karich – Club América Femenil
Karich started for Club América in their high-profile international friendly against FC Barcelona on August 24. She’ll be back in competitive action on Wednesday, August 28 at 9PM ET when América face Santos Laguna in Liga MX Femenil Apertura play.
Karich and Caño were able to meet up after their friendly and exchange jerseys.
Aleigh Gambone – FC Nürnberg Frauen
Gambone came off the bench in the second half of Nürnberg’s preseason friendly against Hoffenheim on August 24. With the German season yet to begin, she’ll continue building sharpness before competitive fixtures resume, with their season opener on Satuday, September 7 against Union Berlin at 12:30PM ET.
Barbara Olivieri – Club Tigres UANL
Olivieri has just officially joined Tigres and in her first game, assisted Diana Ordóñez’s goal. Her next match in Mexico is against the Chivas on Sunday, August 31st at 1:07 PM ET.
