Boston Legacy FC Loan Report - Oct. 22

As leagues around the world pause for the FIFA international window, several Boston Legacy players are set to link up with their national teams – Barbara Olivieri with Venezuela, Aïssata Traoré with Mali, Amanda Gutierres with Brazil, and Chloe Ricketts with the U.S. U-20s. While some head into international duty, others continue to shine at the club level, closing out strong runs of form ahead of November fixtures. Here’s how our players performed in the last few weeks and what’s next on the schedule.


Barbara Olivieri – Club Tigres UANL / Venezuela

Olivieri did not feature in Tigres’ 5-1 win over Atlético San Luis. She’ll now join Venezuela for their opening matches of the CONMEBOL Women’s Nations League — South America’s qualifying competition for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Next matches: Oct. 24 Venezuela vs. Chile, Oct. 28 Venezuela vs. Paraguay. Tigres resume play Nov. 1 vs. Cruz Azul.



Laurel Ansbrow – Ft. Lauderdale United

Ansbrow started and went the full 90 minutes in Ft. Lauderdale’s 5-1 loss to a strong Lexington SC side that tallied 18 shots. Despite the scoreline, she anchored a backline that maintained an 84% tackle success rate and made 26 clearances.

Annie Karich – Club América Femenil

Karich started and played the full 90 in América’s 3-2 Apertura win over Atlas, then featured again in their 3-1 international friendly win against Dallas Trinity.

Aleigh Gambone – FC Nürnberg Frauen

Gambone continues to impress in Germany, starting and playing the full 90 yet again in Nürnberg’s 3-2 victory over Freiburg, their fourth consecutive unbeaten match.

Next match: Friday, Oct. 31 vs. Köln at 1:30PM ET


Aïssata Traoré – FC Fleury 91 / Mali

Traoré played the full 90 minutes in Fleury’s 1-1 draw against Dijon, maintaining her strong start to the season. She now joins Mali for their 2026 WAFCON qualifiers against Cape Verde, a double header.

Next matches: Oct. 24 and Oct. 28 Mali vs. Cape Verde. Fleury return to league play Nov. 1 vs. Lens at 11AM ET.



Emerson Elgin – Tampa Bay Sun

Elgin did not feature in Tampa Bay’s 1-1 draw with Sporting JAX.

Next match: Saturday, Nov. 9 vs. Spokane Zephyr FC at 3PM ET



Alba Caño – FC Barcelona

Caño was on the bench for Barcelona’s UEFA Women’s Champions League 4-0 win over AS Roma but did not feature.

Next match: Sunday, Nov. 2 vs. Real Sociedad at 10AM ET

Pre-Contracted Players


Amanda Gutierres – Palmeiras / Brazil


Gutierres continues her goal-scoring form, finding the net in Palmeiras’ Brasil Ladies Cup win on Sunday. She’ll now join the Brazil Women’s National Team for international friendlies against England and Italy.

Next matches: Oct. 25 Brazil vs. England, Oct. 28 Brazil vs. Italy. Palmeiras resume play Oct. 31 vs. Red Bull Bragantino at 8PM ET.



Chloe Ricketts – Houston Dash / U.S. U-20s


Ricketts did not feature in Houston’s recent fixture. The Dash have been eliminated from postseason contention but will close their regular season on Decision Day after the FIFA international break. Until then, Ricketts will join the U.S. U-20s for their October training camp as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
