Boston Legacy forward Fauzia Najjemba placed on season ending injury list

Boston (July 22, 2026) - On July 9, Boston Legacy FC forward Fauzia Najjemba suffered a rupture of her right rectus femoris tendon during a team training session. Najjemba will be re-evaluated biweekly by Dr. Kelly McInnis of Massachusetts General Brigham during her rehabilitation. Najjemba will be placed on the Season-Ending Injury List and is expected to make a full recovery.
