Aïssata Traoré was first capped for the Mali senior women’s national team in 2018. She was called up to Les Aiglonnes that year for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, helping Mali advance out of the group stage to semifinals. She represented Mali at WAFCON in 2025 as well.
In Traoré’s first season with Fleury during their 2024-25 campaign, she scored nine goals and created four assists in 20 games. Prior to that, she spent five seasons with French club Guingamp, and won a championship with Turkish club Beşiktaş J.K. in 2019.
