MEET Laurel

Laurel Ansbrow played for four years at Wake Forest, appearing in the 2024 NCAA championship game against UNC. She then joined Gainbridge Super League club Ft. Lauderdale United in January 2025. Ansbrow also played in the USL W League in 2022 and 2023, including 11 games in ‘23 for the North Carolina Courage U23s. Ansbrow remained on loan in 2025 with Ft. Lauderdale United after signing with the Legacy, continuing a run of defensive excellence as she started 13 of 14 games and became the club’s all-time leader in clearances, blocks, and passes.
